Now you can pay your traffic Challan through a new way......


India's online payment giant Paytm has added a new service by making traffic challan payment online. Now Paytm users can pay their traffic challan using their Paytm app. This service will make the Paytm hassle easy in our daily life. You can pay your challan via credit/debit card or net banking through the Paytm app. Currently, the services available in Mumbai, Pune and Vijayawada and will soon expand to other cities of India

Speaking on the announcement of senior vice president Kiran  Vaisredy" Traffic Challan payment in India largely happen at selected counters and in cash. We are glad to partner with the state traffic police department to enable challan payment on the go.This is a new straight to our vision to add convenience to every payment use-case in the country."



Paytm includes everything from jumping a red light, over speeding, not wearing a helmet, ignoring traffic signal or driving without a valid licence. 

The company believes that it would be able to funnel through at least 5 million challans nationwide with a value of Rs.150 crore per year.

The initiative of e-commerce company will make payment is he in eradicating the hassle of going to the police department for paying the Challan Plus the document delivery at home will be much easier.


How to pay traffic challan online through Paytm



When your Challan is generated by the machine against your vehicle registration number. You have the option of transferring money online through that Paytm. All you need to do is to go to Paytm website or use the app to make the payment.
Entry your city name and Challan/vehicle number two is the payment method of your preference that is debit/credit card, net banking or Paytm Wallet.

Once the transaction is completed then you will receive an instant auto update on your registered email ID and mobile number. Challan payment is available for 24/7 without you being worried about the availability of sufficient cash in hand or not.
